1975 Airstream Makeover

The owners of this 1975 Sovereign went to the great folks at A & P Vintage Trailerworks for a complete makeover including many mechanical upgrades. The front of the trailer originally had a sofa but the owners hired A & P to build a fantastic booth style dinette area with seating for a trailer full of guests! The hydraulic base table lowers to create a platform for a huge sleeping area.  It was up to us to design and fit cushions and bolsters, to not only provide comfortable seating, but fit together to form the sleeping area. The owner chose a beautiful Sunbrella fabric in a dove grey color with bright orange Sunbrella for the pillows. The end result turned a dated 70’s Airstream into a modern stylish Airstream with a fantastic retro feel.

This trailer recently made the pages of D Magazine!  To see more of the inside, visit their website!

1975 Airstream Makeover

1926 T-Bucket…aka…Santa’s Sleigh!

Someone must have been good this year! This 1926 T-Bucket just screams…HO…HO…HO…!!!

The snow white Ultra-leather seating with bright red trim make for an Ultra-soft and comfy ride. Custom coal black floor mats, red shift lever boots and a hand stitched brake handle cover send it to the top of the NICE list!

We don’t think the reindeer are going to be very happy about this. Too much horsepower!

Good Luck Joe and Happy New Year!

1961 Boles Aero

This 1961 Boles Aero was rescued from a field and sent to A & P Vintage Trailerworks for a full restoration. They did an amazing job bringing the owner’s vision of bling and glamour to life. When they were done working their magic they brought her to us for upholstery and window treatments. Yes, it’s a “her” and her name is officially “Jackie Sue”!

The owner’s choice of teal crushed velvet and deep purple velvets for the seating, silver linen for the curtains topped in more cut velvet and beaded trim gives the term Glamping a whole new meaning! Add the chandelier and….WOW!

It’s a beauty….Happy Glamping!

1968 Camaro

This beautiful 1968 Camaro has been restored to perfection and now has a retro cool interior to match. Custom door panels and seat covers make this a one of a kind interior. She’s a beauty!

2005 Airstream Safari

This 2005 Airstream Safari originally had a sofa that made into a bed across the front.  The owners took it to A & P Vintage Trailerworks in Paradise, Texas to have the sofa removed and a dinette that would make into a bed built.  They did an amazing job building this with materials that were a perfect match to the rest of the trailer.  The fit and finish is excellent.  Bravo to the great people at A & P Vintage Trailerworks!

When they were finished it was our turn to cut and fit the foam for bolsters and cushions, cover the valances, and make new curtains with blackout lining. The use of Sunbrella fabrics throughout resulted in a clean, sophisticated look  that will be in style for many years to come.  The cushion fabric is Sunbrella Surge Char and is available in several colors. The valances are Peyton Granite and the curtains Canvas Granite.

1951 Hudson Super Six

The owner of this beautiful Hudson wanted an interior that was as original as possible.  He supplied us with the perfect reproduction fabrics from SMS Auto Fabrics and with the original door panels and seats we were able to make his dream come true! We love this vintage interior!

1953 Chevy Truck…PLUM CRAZY!

This is no shrinking violet! She’s one PLUM CRAZY Chevy!

UPDATE: Took “Best Interior” at Yesterday’s Trunk or Treat in Bridgeport 10-27-12! Congrats Terry!

1937 Terraplane

We were able to see the “before” of this, now gorgeous, 1937 Terraplane with dual spare tire side mounts (a rare feature) before it went to Chris Rice of  H & H  Rod Shop in Azle, Texas.  The “after” is absolute perfection! Chris did an amazing job. The pictures honestly don’t do this car justice. It is ….perfect!

When the owner brought it to us last August to remove the old interior, we got a pleasant surprise. The original interior was all still there, hidden under black vinyl. With the original interior, and an original dealership brochure with illustrations to go by, we were able to recreate the original interior.  Using 100% wool velvet cloth, wool headlining fabric and wool square weave carpet we got that classic, timeless, elegant look. It was a pleasure working on such a beautiful automobile! Thanks CB!
